On September 25-28, 2023, UrbanShift hosted the distinguished UrbanShift Asia Forum, a gathering of minds from India, China, Indonesia, and other neighboring regions. The forum is the flagship event of UrbanShift in Asia that aims to provide training and capacity-building to regional cities on various facets of integrated and sustainable urban development. During the forum, all representatives converged to tackle regional urban challenges and chart a sustainable path forward.



Jakarta Investment Centre (JIC), represented by Mrs. Tona Hutauruk as the Head of JIC, gave informative insights about the investment climate in Jakarta. As one of the entities that supports Jakarta's transformation, JIC looks ahead to discover opportunities that fuel Jakarta's growth, witness its journey towards a more sustainable urban future, and explore innovative finance solutions shaping Jakarta's evolution. It unveiled the city's investment landscape throughout the vibrant gathering.



In this occasion, we were privileged to have Mr. Ferdinand Ginting, the Head of Road Transport Division, and Mr. Gonggomtua Sitanggang, the Interim Director of ITDP Jakarta, who shared their perspectives on an innovative business model for Transjakarta Electrification. Such insights were expected to add a crucial dimension to the discussions, highlighting the transformative solutions for Jakarta's sustainable urban future and esteemed global partners.
