The Jakarta Investment Festival (JIF) officially launched with its exclusive Networking Night, centered on the theme “Jakarta, the Epicentrum of ASEAN: Invest SMART for a Global Start.” This event brought together key figures from the governments, diplomatic representatives, private sectors, and Jakarta’s Regional-owned enterprises (BUMD).



The event started with welcoming remarks from Mr. Muhammad Herizkianto, Deputy Head of the Department for Investment & Integrated One Stop Service Jakarta Provincial Government. He shared an overview about the investment projects showcased at JIF and emphasized Jakarta's commitment to becoming a top global investment destination.



The event continued with presentation from Ms. Tona Hutauruk, Head of the Jakarta Investment Centre at DPMPTSP Jakarta, who highlighted information on upcoming JIF events, potential investment initiatives, and the JIF 2025 project booklet.

The event concluded with an inspiring keynote speech from Mr. Rano Karno, Vice Governor of Jakarta. In this occasion, he reaffirmed Jakarta's vision of becoming a global city and the epicentrum of ASEAN as well as warmly invited investors to be part of Jakarta’s transformation.

The event wrapped up on a positive note, marked by lively discussions, new connections, and a shared sense of optimism over dinner.
