Thursday, 29 January 2026

Jakarta continues to strengthen the capital’s urban green infrastructure with the development of
Taman Bendera Pusaka. The project integrates three existing public parks (Taman Langsat, Taman Ayodia, and Taman Leuser) into a single, larger green corridor, reflecting Jakarta’s long-term commitment to build sustainable urban development and livability.

Designed to support an active and healthy lifestyle, the park includes a
1,200-meter jogging track, offering a new recreational alternative outside the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) area. According to the Governor of Jakarta, Pramono Anung, Taman Bendera Pusaka is scheduled to be officially opened in February 2026. As of 6 January, Dinas Pertamanan dan Hutan Kota reported that construction progress has reached 77 percent, signaling steady advancement toward completion.

This initiative demonstrates Jakarta’s growing focus on green investment, where environmental sustainability aligns with economic attractiveness. By expanding high-quality public spaces, Jakarta is enhancing its appeal as a competitive global city, creating opportunities for investors to participate in sustainable urban development that delivers long-term value for communities, businesses, and the city’s future growth.
