At the Jakarta Investment Festival Summit 2026, Universitas Prasetiya Mulya delivered a Public Lecture on how information, innovation and financing can support inclusive and sustainable growth in Jakarta.

Dr. Arfan Wiraguna explained that a city’s development is shaped not only by infrastructure, deals and jobs, but also by talent, innovation, networks and capital. He emphasized the importance of credible, validated and standardized information in reducing information asymmetry and strengthening trust between project owners, government and investors.

The discussion also explored financial innovation, including asset securitisation, as a way to develop existing assets into new financing instruments. Universities were highlighted as potential innovation hubs that can validate ideas, build capacity and help turn projects into investment-ready opportunities.

The session highlights the importance of building a stronger investment ecosystem for Jakarta, supported by trusted information, innovative financing and collaboration among government, academia, innovators and investors.
