On October 12, 2026, the Jakarta Investment Centre (JIC) received a courtesy meeting from Indonesia Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) Hamburg to explore collaboration opportunities in promoting Jakarta's investment potential to German businesses and investors, benefiting from the Indonesia-European Union Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IEU CEPA).
ITPC Hamburg is an Indonesian trade promotion representative office under the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia, based in Hamburg, Germany, which serves to promote Indonesian products and commodities in European markets, facilitate business matching between Indonesian businesses and prospective buyers in Germany, and help to expand market access for Indonesian products through exhibition, business forum, and trade promotion activities.
The meeting discussed investor appetite in the German market as well as preparations for an upcoming collaborative initiative to showcase Indonesia's business and investment opportunities, including Jakarta's strategic sectors to the German business entities.
Through this collaboration, Jakarta aims to strengthen international partnerships, expand its global reach, and attract new investment opportunities.
