BNI City Station is one of the important mass transportation infrastructures. Despite its strategic location and status as the largest station by land area within the Dukuh Atas area, it records one of the lowest passenger volumes compared to other stations in Dukuh Atas, even though BNI City Station is the station with the largest area. This project is proposed to optimize BNI City Station in terms of operations and physical facilities of the station by improving physical services.
In recent years, there has been a growing public interest in sports and active lifestyles, driving increased demand for accessible recreational facilities, particularly in urban areas. However, limited space availability has made it challenging to meet this demand within city centers. Given its strategic location and excellent accessibility, BNI City Station presents a strategic opportunity to support such needs. By introducing open and inclusive sports facilities on-site, this project aims to transform the station into a dynamic urban space that serves the community’s demand for accessible and well-connected exercise areas.
