WTP Semanan

To support the target of clean water service coverage target of 100% in Jakarta by 2029, PAM JAYA plans to develop a new water treatment plant, IPA Semanan. The facility will be built on a 16,034 m² site fully owned by PAM JAYA, with approximately 3,200 m² allocated for the development of the Semanan Distribution Center (DC) by the Ministry of Public Works.

The raw water source will be the Tubagus Angke H. Briti River, located around 2–3 km from the planned site. The water treatment process will use MBBR technology, along with coagulation, flocculation, and sedimentation, while storage will utilize the planned DC Semanan reservoir. This project will significantly improve water supply resilience and distribution in the surrounding West Jakarta area. Coordination with the Ministry of Public Works is ongoing, particularly for water balance data and intake planning.
