Jakarta Investment Centre (JIC) had the honor to discuss with the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Hong Kong (KJRI Hong Kong) on March 5th, 2024. This initial dialogue aims to foster economic ties and attract investment from Hong Kong into Jakarta by highlighting potential investment collaboration especially in the Belt and Road Initiative partnership framework. 

JIC was welcomed by KJRI Hong Kong Economic Consulars, Mr. Slamet Noegroho and Mr. Yomi Eka Putra, who delved into the investment appetite of Hong Kong’s investors especially in the sectors of infrastructure, property, waste management and financial service particularly in the digital payment system.

Recorded as the 5th largest FDI contributor in Jakarta, Hong Kong holds a prominent role in the city’s development. We look forward to further collaboration with KJRI Hong Kong in facilitating stronger investment relationships between Jakarta and Hong Kong investors!
