3 Jakarta ROEs signed LoI with Korean and French companies in JIF 2022




LoI signing between Perumda Paljaya and SIIAP – The Greater Paris Sanitation Authority in JIF 2022, Jakarta, September 1st 2022. 

JAKARTA (1/9) - Three Jakarta Capital City Government’s Regional Owned Enterprises (ROEs) signed Letter of Intent (LoI) with Korean and French companies, marking Jakarta’s concrete action in developing sustainable city development through global collaboration. The signing took place in the Jakarta Investment Forum (JIF) 2022 at Fairmont Hotel Jakarta on September 1st 2022. 

The first LoI signing related to MRT Jakarta Phase 4 was carried out by PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) represented by the Director of Business Development for MRT Jakarta with a consortium consists of Korea Overseas Infrastructure and Urban Development Cooperation (KIND), Korea National Railway (KNR) and Samsung C&T. The signing was also witnessed by the President Director of PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda), Muhammad Apriandy.

Next, the second LoI was signed by PT Jakarta Propertindo (Perseroda) represented by the President Director, Widi Amanasto, and Syctom – The Greater Paris Metropolitan Waste Management represented by the Head of Institutional Relations, Caroline Chal. The signing was witnessed by Fellow at Global Solutions Initiative and President of the Grand Paris Alliance for Metropolitan Development, Nicolas Buchoud. Both parties will collaborate in the waste management sector along with its processing facility.  

The last LoI was signed by Perumda Paljaya represented by President Director, Arip Supriyanto, and a France company namely SIIAP – The Greater Paris Sanitation Authority represented by a representative, Caroline Chal. The LoI signing on cooperation in wastewater management was witnessed by Fellow at Global Solutions Initiative and the President of the Grand Alliance for Metropolitan Development, Nicolas Buchoud.
