On May 27, 2024, Jakarta Investment Centre (JIC) hold a courtesy meeting with Bursa Efek Indonesia to promote  the upcoming Jakarta Investment Festival (JIF) 2024. In September 2023, Bursa Efek Indonesia launched the IDXCarbon, a dedicated carbon trading platform that operates under stringent regulations outlined by the OJK (Financial Services Authority) to facilitate carbon trading activities in Indonesia. 

The meeting brought together top professionals from both entities, including Edwin Hartanto, Parlin Octavian, and Puspita Pratiwi, the representatives from Bursa Efek Indonesia to discuss potential collaboration in JIF 2024, particularly for JIF Class, a dedicated workshop centered around Carbon Trading. 

This meeting marks a significant step towards integrating sustainable practices in the capital market through strategic partnerships, reflecting both JIC's and Bursa Efek Indonesia's commitment to support Jakarta's green growth and sustainability goals.
