Introductory Meeting with Embassy of the Czech Republic

On February 29, 2024, we were pleased to host a courtesy visit from the Embassy of the Czech Republic to Indonesia. Ms. Alena Stojdlova, Head of Economic and Trade Affairs Department, and Ms. Christine Anggi, Economic and Trade Specialist, represented the embassy. The purpose of the visit was to discuss arranging a business delegation visit to Jakarta and to meet with the Acting Governor of Jakarta Provincial Government. JIC facilitated a meeting between the Embassy of the Czech Republic and representatives from several Jakarta Government Agencies.

This planned business delegation is part of the Czech Republic's business expansion plan in Indonesia, with a focus on transportation projects in Jakarta, particularly those undertaken by PT MRT Jakarta, PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro), and PT Transportasi Jakarta (TJ). The positive growth of Indonesia's transportation sector has attracted significant interest from Czech private companies.
