On February 21st, 2024, Jakarta Investment Centre (JIC) conducted an introductory meeting with the Dubai International Chamber. Citing from their official website, Dubai International Chamber's office in Indonesia was officially inaugurated in June 2023. The launch builds on the longstanding ties between Dubai and Indonesia, and heralds the dawn of a new era of increased trade, investment, and economic cooperation.

Building on our initial discussions, Dubai International Chamber, represented by Mr. Noorsona Mushonnif and Mr. Arif Firdaus, gave further explanation about their role as an institution whose mission is to strengthen business and investment cooperation between Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as well as promoting Dubai as the economic hub of the Middle East. On this occasion, JIC also came up with priority projects in 2024 and the upcoming Jakarta Investment Festival (JIF) being highlighted. This engagement is a step towards tangible projects and partnerships that will benefit both regions economically and socially. As we move forward, our focus remains on creating a seamless pathway and fostering an environment of innovation and growth for investors.
